Three conventions of this movie would be blood, violence and murder. The signifyer of this movie would be the way the poster is layed out.with the people looking scared like the gost is after them or haunghting them. The detonative levels are the smoke coming from the backgroumfd what make it look scarey  and also the name scream that make it a horror because it sound frightening.The poster shows like a team looking for the ghost.This poster also shows the audience that there is a killer and main character who may die or survive but they know there will be violence and blood. This also shows that this movie will be restricted to a certain age group because of the violence it contains.The age group would be 18 and over.
